so i have managed to find these little gems amongst others, from several different flickr accounts...its some what astounding as to how many people there are collecting what is essentially rubbish. However, i do completely relate to the desire to collect this dated design. Im even more grateful for them having done so, as i now have resource to the typography and style of an era, that i was either too young to fully appreciate or completely missed. As a sparked knock on effect from a commission i did, my new series of work, is to document how my animals are going to water the rubbish....its my way of helping resolve the hideous litter bug era we are currently in. Although im sure its always been in london, i am really noticing it after ten yeas of living in cornwall....
